About Ashram
In 1958, Vethathiri Maharishi established the World Community Service Centre (WCSC), aiming to foster world peace through individual peace. Over 400 trusts and approximately 2023 sub-centers across India are now affiliated with WCSC. Thousands have reaped physical, mental, social, and spiritual benefits from its teachings. From 1972 to 1993, Maharishi traveled abroad annually, delivering lectures and extensive teachings in Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and the USA.

ABOUT
Founder
Shri Vethathiri Maharishi was born in 1911 in the village of Guduvancheri, 30km south of Chennai, India, into an indigent weaver’s family. The Founder Father Yogiraj Vethathiri Maharishi, established WCSC in the year 1958. The primary aim is to attain “World Peace through Individual Peace”
ABOUT
President
SKM. Maeilanandhan, is an Indian industrialist and founder of SKM Group of companies. He was honored by the Government of India, in 2013, by bestowing on him the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, for his contributions to the field of social service.
